ITLC info

ITLC will showcase innovations by lecturers and students in the form of exhibition and pitching session. It serves as a platform to display creativity and acknowledge the efforts made by individuals/groups in inculcating innovative approach in Teaching & Learning process. Winners will stand a chance to represent USM in future national and international competition. 

CATEGORY :

a) Innovative Teaching & Learning / Innovative Supervision (ie. strategy, method, T&L process etc.)
b) E-Learning / MOOC / Blended Learning / Microcredential
c) Teaching Aid (ie. model, video, apps. etc)
d) Assessment Method / Alternative Evaluation (ie. mind mapping, rubric, e-portfolio etc)
e) Educational Resources (ie. Slideshare Channel, Youtube Channel, Blog, E-Book etc)

Certification of participation

ITLC Info
  1. The product or innovation contested must be related to the teaching and learning process or material.

  2. Innovation must be produced by academic staff from the School / Service Centers involved in teaching and learning. The innovation should be implemented and obtained evidence through student feedback on its effectiveness.

  3. Individual or group participation (maximum of 5 persons). Group can consists of a combination of lecturers, staff and students.

  4. The innovation should provide a clear benefit in terms of improving the quality of teaching and learning at tertiary level in line with ITLC theme which is 'HEBATising Future Talents #USMStyle'.

  5. Participants are required to pitch for 5 minutes to present their innovations.

  6. Participants should prepare and print an A1 size poster (841 x 594 mm / 33.1 x 23.4 inches) based on evaluation criteria either in Malay or English. All related costs must be borne by participants. Please click here for standard poster template.

  7. Participants are also encouraged to provide additional materials  such as brochures, photographs, certificates of appreciation or other materials to support their respective products and innovations.

  8. Each participant will be assigned their own booth space to display their posters/materials on competition day.
